The problem with focusing on the new fans is that the newer games drifted from what the OG fans wanted. Truthfully the newer games did hurt the Saints Row brand. Proper research wouldve showed them this. I believe they got in over their heads trying to be “politically correct” while also catering to older fans.

The gameplay is solid, the humour is solid, the characters are good enough, the world is well designed, the story is a little disjointed so far ngl, and the next gen graphics are good.
